Project Joy
Our holiday program helps Whitehouse ISD families in need have food and Christmas gifts for their children over the Christmas break.

Ways to give
Your support helps stock shelves and feed families in Whitehouse ISD. Here are three simple ways to help — every contribution makes a difference.
Give online
Donate securely through Givebutter. Your gift helps keep food on tables for neighbors who need it.
Donate / Give OnlineIn person: Card donations accepted via Square at pantry days and events.
Scooter’s Coffee app
Everyday Scooter’s visits can support Whitehouse Food Pantry through the Scooter’s Coffee app Community / Community Rewards feature. Open the link or app, choose Whitehouse Food Pantry as your community partner (when listed), and use the app on your visits so support can go to the pantry. Local programs may vary.
Choose us in Scooter’s CommunityHangers of Hope
Drop off gently used clothing and household items at Hangers of Hope in Tyler. When you donate, tell the dock worker or staff that it is for Whitehouse Food Pantry (Beyond the Rack partnership) so support can come back to the pantry.
Drop-off hours are roughly Mon–Sat, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM at HOH Tyler locations. Naming Whitehouse Food Pantry at drop-off is the key ask.

Get Your Mahjong East Texas
Thank you to our friends at Get Your Mahjong East Texas, whose mahjong group raised $730 for the pantry in September. Follow them to join the fun and support our neighbors.

The problem
Hunger is local. Families in our own community don’t have enough to eat. We serve about 200 of them every month.
You want to help, but it’s hard to know where one gift will truly make a difference.
It’s simply wrong for anyone in Whitehouse to go hungry, and together we can fix it.

We know this community because we’re part of it, and we’ve built a pantry you can trust:

If we fall short

Business owners: a special opportunity
Give $250 or more and we’ll come take your picture.
Our team will visit your place of business for a photo to keep and display, and we’ll feature it on our social media, showing how your business supports the Whitehouse Food Pantry.

Before you volunteer
Please complete two short online trainings through East Texas Food Bank: Food Handlers and a short Civil Rights quiz.

- Sign in or create an account.
- Complete Food Handlers and Civil Rights.
- Print your completion certificates and bring them to the pantry, or email them to admin@whitehousefood.org.

A Pantry You Can Trust
Whitehouse Food Pantry is neighbors helping neighbors. As a partner of the East Texas Food Bank, we provide groceries with dignity and care to families across Whitehouse ISD every week, and each Christmas we bring extra joy through Project Joy. Led by leaders from across our community, and powered by volunteers, youth groups, and neighbors who show up week after week, we’re making sure no one in Whitehouse has to face hunger alone.
You may remember us as Philadelphia Blessing on Highway 110. In May 2026 we moved to 405 West Main Street at Whitehouse Methodist Church and began serving as Whitehouse Food Pantry, the same pantry for the same neighbors.
